How to add a fee structure?


To create a fee structure, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Fee Structure" section under the "Masters" menu.
  2. Click on "Add Fee Structure" to begin creating a new fee structure.
  3. Select the appropriate "Fee Master," "Component," and "Frequency" from the given options.
    • "Once Only" is for a fee paid at the time of admission.
    • "Periodic" is for fees paid in installments. If you choose this frequency, enter the number of installments equal to the amount of times the fee will be paid.
    • "Another Once Only" is for a fee that can be paid in any month of the year.
  4. Choose the desired "Class" or classes for which the fee structure will apply.
  5. Fill in the "Amount" and "Installments" fields. You can click on the plus sign to add more classes, amounts, and installments if needed.
  6. If the fee is refundable, checkmark the appropriate option.
  7. Click on "Save" to complete the process and save the fee structure.

By following these steps, you can create a fee structure with the selected fee master, component, frequency, class(es), amount(s), and installments. The option to mark the fee as refundable ensures accurate management of refundable fees within the system.
