How to update and remove a subject?

To edit or remove subjects in the system, please follow these steps:

To Edit a Subject:

  1. Go to the "Add Subject" section under the "Masters" menu.
  2. Select the subject from the listing that you want to edit.
  3. Click on the Pencil Icon (Edit) associated with the subject.
  4. Make the required changes in the Subject Name and Code fields.
  5. Hit the Submit button to save the updated information.

To Remove a Subject:

  1. Go to the "Add Subject" section under the "Masters" menu.
  2. Find the subject you wish to remove from the listing.
  3. Click on the Delete Symbol (Delete) associated with the subject.
    • Note: A subject can only be deleted if it has not been added to any syllabus or exam.
  4. A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to delete the subject.
  5. Click on "Yes, Delete It" to confirm the deletion.

By following these steps, you can edit the subject details or remove subjects from the system as needed. However, please note that once a subject is added to a syllabus or exam, it cannot be deleted.
