First 10 things to do to get started

As you begin using your EdPrime account and start getting familiar with its features, you can refer to the checklist below for help setting up and onboarding your school effortlessly.

 

1.Self Onboarding: Begin the onboarding process by visiting the self-onboarding link: Institute Registration. Provide essential details such as school name, abbreviation, logo, website, and contact information for the director/principal and administrator.

 

During the onboarding process, there are certain requirements that need to be fulfilled. These include:

    1. School Name and Abbreviation: Provide the full name of your school as well as an abbreviation if applicable.
    2. School Logo: Select a logo for your school in either .JPEG, .PNG, or .JPG format. The logo should have a file size between 5KB and 2MB.
    3. School Website: Enter the website URL of your school, if available.
    4. Contact Information for Director/Principal: Provide the contact details of the director/principal of your school. This information is important for communication and administrative purposes.
    5. Contact Information for Administrator: Provide the contact details of the administrator who will act as the branch admin. This individual will have access to important and confidential information related to the school's operations.
    6. Fill in the Form and Review: Complete the onboarding form by filling in the required details and reviewing the information entered to ensure accuracy and completeness.

By fulfilling these requirements and completing the onboarding process, you can successfully set up your school on the EdPrime platform.

2.Activate Account: After registering at your institute, you will receive an activation email. Follow the instructions in the email to activate your account. Rebrand your account by adding your school's logo (in JPEG, PNG, or JPG format) and share it with EdPrime's support team via email or WhatsApp.

 

3.Change your Password: Upon activating your account, it is recommended to change your password for security reasons. Ensure your new password meets the requirements of at least 8 characters with one uppercase letter, one special character, and one number

4.Setting up your Institute Profile: 

Once your account is activated, you can update your institute's profile by providing general information, contact information, and reviewing the chosen package modules. Fill in details such as the institute name, domain name, website, address, pin/zip code, and selected modules

To set up your Institute Profile in EdPrime, follow these steps after activating your account:

  1. Update General Information: Provide details such as the institute name, domain name, website, and identity code.
  2. Update Contact Information: Enter the institute's address, including country, state, city, and pin/zip code.
  3. Review Chosen Modules: Check the list of modules/packages you have selected for your institute.

By completing these steps, you can ensure that your institute's profile is up to date and accurate in the EdPrime system.

 

In the Contact Information section, you can provide the address details of your institute, including the country, state, city, and pin/zip code. This information helps in identifying the location of your institute accurately.

Additionally, you can review and check the list of modules packages that you have selected for your institute. This allows you to ensure that you have chosen the desired modules that align with your institute's requirements and objectives. By verifying the selected modules, you can be confident that you have access to the specific features and functionalities provided by EdPrime that best suit your institute's needs.

5.ConfigureSystem Settings:

Set up general configurations to customize your EdPrime experience. Choose the sender email address for outgoing emails and configure online registration settings, including the registration year name, payment amount, currency, and the online registration link to embed on your website. Consider enabling the Razorpay payment gateway if desired.  

 

In the General Settings section, you can configure the sender email address for outgoing emails. Choose the email ID through which you want to send emails.

To set up online registration for admissions in EdPrime, follow these steps:

    1. Enter Online Registration Year Name: Provide the name or academic year for the online registration process.
    2. Online Registration Payment Amount: Specify the payment amount required for the registration process.
    3. Payment Currency: Choose the currency you prefer to use for accepting online registration payments.
    4. Online Registration Link: Use the provided link to embed the online registration form on your institute's website.

By configuring these settings, you can enable online registration for admissions and streamline the payment process for prospective students.To integrate payment options in EdPrime, you can enable the Razorpay payment gateway. Follow these steps:

    1. Enable Razorpay Payment Gateway: Select "Yes" or "No" to enable or disable the Razorpay payment gateway integration.
    2. Enable Razorpay Branch Payment Gateway: Choose whether to enable the Razorpay Branch Payment Gateway. This feature allows you to process payments through specific branches or locations.

By enabling the Razorpay payment gateway, you can provide secure and convenient payment options for transactions within EdPrime.

Birthday Greeting Setting allows you to customize how birthday greetings are sent in EdPrime. Here's how you can set it up:

  1. Select Birthday Message Type: Choose the preferred method for sending birthday greetings. You can choose from the different options available.
  2. Alert Student Birthday Message: Choose "Yes" or "No" to determine whether you want to send birthday messages to students on their special day.
  3. Alert Employee Birthday Message: Choose "Yes" or "No" to decide if you want to send birthday messages to employees on their birthdays.

By configuring these settings, you can ensure that birthday greetings are sent to students and employees as per your preferences, enhancing their experience within the EdPrime platform.

 

6.Create School structure   Establish your school's structure by adding classes and defining the display names. Additionally, create a fee schedule to manage fee collection.

7.Geo-Location Specify the country, state, and city where your branch is located for accurate geolocation information

8.HRMS (Human Resource Management System): Configure HRMS features by creating CTC (Cost to Company) particulars, leave types, leave groups, and working sessions according to your organization's requirements.

9.Import Student Import student data in bulk using an Excel sheet. Make sure to include mandatory fields such as student name, scholar number, date of birth, date of joining, father’s name, mother's name, email, and phone number.

10.Import Employee Similarly, import employee data in bulk using an Excel sheet. Include mandatory fields such as employee name, role, mobile number, gender, and email.
